Where do I get a claim
number?
Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company
at the time you report your accident. Just jot it
down and bring it with you when you come to Santa
Cruz Auto Body to begin the repair process and will
do the rest.
If my vehicle’s frame is damaged
is it a total loss?
Generally no. when reviewing the damages to your
vehicle our primary concern is to ensure that the
structural integrity of the vehicle is intact. If
the structural integrity of the vehicle is intact,
then only when the cost of repair exceeds the
appraised value of the vehicle then will it be
considered as a total loss.
Can you match the
paint colors?
Today’s factory cars incorporate multiple layers of
high specialized paints. At Santa Cruz Auto Body we
have made an investment in the finest computerized
paint system available and constantly upgrade its
technology and equipment to ensure that each
vehicle’s paint matches to its original color. When
you walk out this door we want you to feel like you
stepping into a new ride.
Can I get a ride home
when I drop off my car?
Yes, we would be happy to provide this service to
you. We want our customer to feel their visit at
Santa Cruz Auto Body to be a good experience and
will work with you.
How can I get a rental car?
If you need a rental car, we can help you make the
necessary arrangements. Insurance companies will
only pay for a rental car, only if you have that
option on you policy or if you are the claimant.
Check your policy or call your insurance company to
find out if you have rental coverage and what your
specific limitations are. If you have a high
deductible will work with you, don’t worry about it.
How will I know whether my car repair had been
done?
You will be notified when your vehicle is ready to
be picked up. Please don’t forget to leave your
contact phone number with us. Feel free to call or
e-mail us during the process if you have any
questions. We feel you will not have to do that
because we will keep you updated on the progress of
your vehicle at all times.
Is there a warranty on
the repairs to my vehicle?
Yes, Santa Cruz Auto Body guarantees all repairs and
parts for one year. All paint jobs have a life time
warranty. We will hand out a warranty certificate
when you pick up your vehicle.
What forms of
payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. Cash, cashier checks and insurance
checks are always welcome. We do accept personal
checks (Tele Check System).
